I’m a software architect and the founder of AM IT Solution. I work with education, retail, property and advisory businesses on the systems their teams use every day: CRM, SaaS platforms, portals, payments and automation.
My starting point is how your business works today. I help you decide what to build, what to connect and what to leave alone, then take responsibility for the software from planning through to launch and ongoing support.
On most projects in this portfolio, I am the sole developer. You work directly with the person making the technical decisions. Where AI helps with drafting or processing information, I keep its role specific and its output reviewable.
How I work
Four rules I hold every project to, and the order a problem is taken apart in.
- Inspect before changing
- Before touching a system I read it: the data model, the deployment, what the last person was solving. Most bad changes come from confident assumptions about code nobody re-read.
- Business logic before UI
- A screen that looks right over a model that is wrong is a liability. I get the entities, the states and the money definitions right first; the interface follows from them.
- Verification before "done"
- A green local build is not evidence. I check the deployed thing — the page served, the row written, the email received — before saying a change is shipped.
- Build for maintainability
- The architecture has to still make sense after a year of changes made in a hurry. Invariants that matter get enforced by the database or by a test that fails the build, not by discipline.

There is no AI step in that list on purpose. Most of what makes a business faster is removing a manual handoff, and that rarely needs a model. Where one earns its place, it sits inside step 4 as a single bounded decision.

Freelance web work
Client websites, taken one at a time and shipped to a brief. None of it is in the portfolio on this site — it predates everything listed here. It is where the habits came from: working to someone else’s deadline, handing over something that has to keep running without me.

Design-led sites for businesses that needed to be found and understood. This is the oldest work still shown here, kept as a flat archive rather than dressed up as case studies, because that is honestly what it is.

On the SME Enterprise News publishing platform, Google Gemini drafts article excerpts, SEO titles and meta descriptions into editable fields, behind authentication, rate limiting and CSRF validation, with an editor deciding what is published. The position across the site is deliberate: business software first, then workflow automation, then AI in the one step where it adds real value. Good automation is often deterministic and does not need a model at all.
